When you need all-keys-lost service
- You lost the only key — we check your vehicle and make a new key from scratch.
- The key was stolen — ask about deleting the old key from the car so it can't start it anymore.
- The key is missing and the car is locked — we open the car first, then make the key.
- Your push-to-start key is lost — smart keys need special programming; we check availability for your vehicle.
- The remote or fob died completely — we inspect the key and recommend the right option.
How we make a key without the original
Depending on the car, we use the vehicle's key code, decode the door lock, cut the blade on our key machine and program the chip, remote or smart key with professional diagnostic tools. A simple key often takes 30–45 minutes; a smart key or a more secure system can take 1–3 hours. We check your ID and proof of ownership before making any key.
What it costs
All-keys-lost jobs cost more than a spare because there is no key to copy. The price depends on the vehicle, the key type and your location — typically $250–$700 in Florida, and more for some European and luxury cars. Send us the year, make and model and we give you the exact price before we drive out. Read more in what to do if you lost all your car keys.
Dealer or mobile locksmith?

A dealer usually needs the car towed in, an appointment and a key order — often $450–$1,200 plus towing. We come to the car and make the key on-site, often the same day. All makes except Tesla, Lucid and Polestar.
