Mitsubishi models we make keys for include: Outlander, Outlander Sport, Eclipse Cross, Mirage, Lancer, Galant — and more. Tell us the year and model and we confirm.
Mitsubishi keys we make
- Transponder keys — chipped keys for older Galant, Lancer, Eclipse and early Outlander models, plus many base-trim Mirage cars.
- Flip keys and remote keys — folding blade with lock and unlock buttons, used on many Lancer, Outlander and Outlander Sport trims from the late 2000s and 2010s.
- FAST-key smart keys — Mitsubishi's push-to-start fob on many Outlander, Outlander Sport, Eclipse Cross and upper-trim Mirage and Lancer models. The 2022-and-newer Outlander was redesigned and uses a different fob than earlier Outlanders.
- Emergency blades tucked inside FAST-key fobs, cut to your driver's door lock.
Common Mitsubishi key calls
Budget car, single key. Mirage and Lancer owners often bought used and got one key with the car. A spare made now keeps a lost key from turning into a locked-out, won't-start day.
"Key not detected" on a push-start model. A FAST-key with a weak battery may still unlock the doors but fail to start the engine. We try a fresh battery first, then check whether the fob is still programmed to the car before recommending a new one.
Older Lancer or Galant key worn smooth. Keys on high-mileage Mitsubishis wear down until they barely turn the ignition or door lock. We cut a new key to the correct factory depths instead of copying the worn one.
Why not the Mitsubishi dealer?
There are fewer Mitsubishi dealers than most brands, so the nearest service department may be a long drive — or a tow if you have no working key — plus an appointment and a wait for a key to be ordered. We bring Mitsubishi key blanks, a cutting machine and programming equipment to your car and handle most models in one visit, often for about half the dealer's price.
