Chevrolet models we make keys for include: Silverado, Tahoe, Suburban, Equinox, Malibu, Traverse, Camaro, Colorado, Trax, Cruze — and more. Tell us the year and model and we confirm.
Chevrolet keys we make
- Transponder keys — chipped keys for older Silverado, Tahoe, Impala and Malibu models, cut and programmed to the car.
- Flip keys — fold-out blade with lock, unlock and remote start or trunk buttons, used on many Equinox, Camaro, Malibu, Cruze and Silverado years.
- Smart keys (push-to-start) — keyless start on many newer Equinox, Malibu, Traverse, Camaro, Tahoe and upper-trim Silverado models.
- Emergency blades inside smart keys, cut to open the driver's door when the fob battery dies.
Common Chevrolet key calls
Spare for a truck or family SUV. A Silverado or Tahoe that gets passed between drivers often ends up with one key. We add a second key while the first one still works — the simplest and least expensive job.
Flip key falling apart. Chevy flip keys are carried every day and the blade pivot or case can wear out. We replace the shell and blade, or the whole key if the remote no longer works.
All keys lost. We cut a key for your Chevy from scratch, program it through the car's security relearn, and on many models remove the lost key from memory so it can't start the car.
Why not the Chevrolet dealer?
With no working key, the Chevy dealer usually wants the vehicle towed in, then scheduled for service — and some keys have to be ordered first. We bring GM key blanks, cutting and programming tools to your driveway, office or parking lot and handle most Chevrolet models in one visit, often for about half the dealer's price.
