Should I rekey my locks after moving into a new home?
Yes. Rekeying stops old keys from working while you keep the existing lock, if it is still in good condition. It starts at $59 per lock.
What is the difference between rekeying and replacing a lock?
Rekeying changes the key that works the lock. Replacement removes the old lock and installs a new one. Rekeying is often enough when the lock works well; replacement is better if it is damaged, worn or outdated.
Can you remove a broken key from a lock?
In many cases, yes. Don't force it — we remove the broken piece, check that the lock still works and make a new key if needed.
What should I tell you when I call?
