Audi models we make keys for include: A4, A6, Q5, Q7, Q3, A3 — and more. Tell us the year and model and we confirm.
Audi keys we make
- Flip keys — folding key with a built-in remote, used on many older A4 and A6 models and on many A3 and Q3 years sold in the U.S.
- Slot-style keys — the rectangular key that plugs into the dash to start the car, used on many A4, A5, A6, Q5 and Q7 years from the mid-2000s to the mid-2010s.
- Advanced Key (keyless) fobs — push-to-start on the trims that have it, for the model years we can program.
- Emergency blades inside the fob, cut to the laser-cut door lock.
Common Audi key calls
Down to one key on a used Audi. Many Audis around Boca Raton are bought pre-owned with a single key. A spare made from a working key is by far the easiest and most affordable way to program an Audi key.
Key not recognized. A "key not recognized" message is sometimes just the battery, and sometimes a key that's been dropped once too often. We test the key before recommending a replacement.
Dealer quoted a long wait. Audi dealers often order replacement keys from the factory, which can take days. For the models we support, we can usually finish in one visit.
Why not the Audi dealer?
For models we can program, the dealer route usually means a tow if no key works, an appointment and a factory-ordered key. We do the job at your car, often for about half the dealer's price. For some newer Audis the dealer is the only option — and when that's the case, we tell you on the first call instead of sending a technician.
