Infiniti models we make keys for include: Q50, QX60, QX80, QX50, G37, FX35, Q60, QX56, M37 — and more. Tell us the year and model and we confirm.
Infiniti keys we make
- Transponder keys — chip keys for older turn-key Infinitis such as the I30, I35, QX4 and some early G35 trims, often paired with a separate remote.
- Intelligent Keys with a dash knob — the fob stays in your pocket and you turn a knob to start; used on some 2000s FX and other models.
- Intelligent Keys (push-to-start) — the setup on the G37, M, Q50, Q60, QX50, QX60 and QX80. On many models the key also recalls your seat and mirror positions.
- Emergency blades — the metal key hidden inside each Intelligent Key, cut to open your driver's door.
Common Infiniti key calls
Second key for an older G37 or FX35. Plenty of Infinitis from the 2000s and early 2010s still run well but are down to one tired fob. Adding a new Intelligent Key while the old one still works keeps you out of an all-keys-lost situation later.
Fob works only some of the time. Worn button pads and cracked cases are common on older Infiniti fobs. We test the fob first; if it has failed, we program a replacement instead of guessing.
Seat memory after a new key. On many Infinitis, each Intelligent Key is tied to a driver's seat and mirror settings. After we program your new key, we show you how to link it to your settings so it works like the original.
Why not the Infiniti dealer?
Infiniti has far fewer dealers than most brands, so with no working key the tow can be a long one. Then comes the service appointment and often a wait while the Intelligent Key is ordered. We come to your driveway, office or parking lot, cut and program the key there, and usually finish in one visit — often for about half the dealer's price.
