Ignition problems we fix
- Key won't turn — the key goes in but won't turn to start the car.
- Key gets stuck — jammed in the ignition or hard to remove.
- Works sometimes — fine one day, fails the next, usually with a worn key or cylinder.
- Car won't start — the key turns but the car doesn't start; this may be the ignition or something else, and we'll tell you which.
Don't force the key
Pushing harder can bend or break the key inside the cylinder. Random sprays can attract dirt or damage internal parts, and jiggling the key only works for a while. If the key is getting harder to turn, fix it before the car stops starting completely.
Repair or replacement?

How it works
Tell us the year, make and model and what happens when you turn the key — whether it goes in, turns, sticks, and whether the steering wheel is locked. A technician comes to the car, inspects the ignition and repairs, rebuilds or replaces it on-site. If the key is worn too, we cut and program a new one in the same visit. The dealer may need the car towed and recommend a full replacement; we come to you.
