Land Rover models we make keys for include: Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Range Rover Evoque, Range Rover Velar, Discovery, Discovery Sport, Defender, LR4 — and more. Tell us the year and model and we confirm.
Land Rover keys we make
- Remote keys with a fold-out blade — used on many older LR3, LR4, Discovery and early Range Rover Sport models.
- Smart keys (keyless entry and push-button start) — many Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Evoque, Velar and Discovery years; we confirm by year and model.
- Emergency key blades hidden in the smart key, cut to open the driver's door when the fob or car battery is dead.
- Spare keys for some newer models when you still have a working key, even where all-keys-lost is dealer-only — we confirm by VIN.
Common Land Rover key calls
Only one key with a used Range Rover. Range Rovers and Evoques are common on Boca Raton roads, and many change hands with a single key. Making a spare while the first one works covers the most models and costs less than an all-keys-lost job.
Key not detected. Land Rover smart keys drain their batteries, and a key that's been dropped or got wet may stop working altogether. We test the key, replace the battery or case, and program a new key when needed.
All keys lost. On supported models we cut the emergency blade to your locks and program a new smart key at your car. On newer models that are dealer-only for this job, we tell you before anyone drives out, so you don't pay for a trip that can't solve it.
Why not the Land Rover dealer?
For many Land Rover key jobs, the dealer needs the vehicle in its shop — a flatbed tow if you have no key — plus an appointment and often a wait while the key is ordered. For the models we can program, we come to you, finish in one visit and often charge about half the dealer's price. For the newest models where the dealer really is the only option, we'll say so on the phone.
